SUSPENSION OF WORK IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY IN DC! Friday, January 13th, 2017 – Tuesday, January 24th 2017

There will be a Suspension of Work for the Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the 58th Presidential Inauguration.

In observance of the Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the 58th Presidential Inauguration there will be a suspension of work in the District from Friday, January 13th, 2017 at 12:00 pm through Tuesday, January 24th, 2017Lane closures will not be allowed for non-emergency work in roadways and sidewalks within the District’s Right-of-way.  This includes manhole access.

Suspension of work means all work within the public right-of-way (this includes all occupancy and construction permits). We would imagine emergency roadway operations will be allowed on a case-by-case basis, but will be under strict supervision, particularly in the downtown corridor.
